    Room Attendant – Full-time and Part-time positions available

    Situated on the pristine shores of Lake Wakatipu, with superb lake and mountain views, Peppers Beacon, Queenstown offers the perfect accommodation base for exploring this exciting year-round destination or simply relishing in the finer things in life.

    We are currently seeking energetic, passionate, and experienced Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping Department – both full-time and part-time roles available.

    Ideally we are looking for someone with a housekeeping and customer service background to become part of this busy team.  The successful applicants will perform all necessary housekeeping activities in order to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of Guest Rooms, while ensuring guest comfort at all times.

    Responsibilities:

    • Checking Rooms
    • Service and clean all allocated guest rooms, ensuring all tasks are completed at or above the required standard.
    • Assist guests with all enquiries and complaints, and provides accurate information to guests about the property facilities and features.
    • Comply with all guest privacy and security procedures.
    • Stock and maintain the housekeeping trolley, ensuring adequate supplies are available and the trolley is presentable at all times.
    • Undertake special cleaning projects, as directed.
    • Follow the correct procedures for all lost property items.
    • Notify the appropriate person of all maintenance problems, damaged equipment and missing items, immediately.
    • Handles all amenities, chemicals and equipment according to specific instructions and OH&S standards.

     

    Successful Applicants will have:

    • Over six months housekeeping experience preferred
    • Experience in a five star resort is beneficial but not essential
    • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, over a seven day roster
    • Exceptional personal hygiene and grooming standards
    • Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction

     

    The successful Applicants will be:

    • Work fit – This is a physically demanding role
    • Customer Service orientated
    • Able to learn and deliver rooms to the Peppers standard
    • Team player
    • Glass half full attitude
    • Able to work under pressure
