Real Journeys – Gardener (Walter Peak)

The Colonel’s Homestead lakeside gardens are renowned for their beauty, and our Walter Peak Grounds Team hold the enviable position of working in them each and every day. This is a full time, fixed term role which means this is your opportunity to assist in setting the scene for Remarkable Customer Experiences for the summer period.

We require an attentive, independent and reliable gardener to join our team ideally with at least five years’ horticulture experience, preferably with a qualification in horticulture. Excellent knowledge of horticulture including a good working knowledge of different plant types, preparing seedbeds, plant maintenance and pruning is essential in this role.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about flora and fauna, has a solid work ethic and takes pride in their work. You will also be required to help out with the day to day odd-jobs associated with running and maintaining a property of this size.
