Registered Nurse – Queenstown with Southern District Health Board
District Nursing
– Permanent, part-time position (0.6FTE)

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Queenstown and surrounding
districts. You will provide holistic nursing care and support care to a variety of clients, in
Queenstown and surrounds, ranging from terminal care and post discharge follow-up.

You must be registered in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003
as a Registered Nurse and possess a current practicing certificate and drivers licence. It is essential
that applicants have had 3-5 years of varied post-basic nursing experience, including acute clinical,
surgical and medical nursing.

You must have the ability to communicate effectively, be self-motivated and tactful, with a caring
attitude, be able to cope in stressful situations and work as a team member. A full, clean driver’s
licence is a requirement for this role.
