Community trapping & monitoring/ Whakatipu Wildlife trust  – Saturday 10th February 10.30am – Department of Conservation Visitor centre

Wonder what you can do to save our native bird and wildlife from introduced predators?

Join us for an interactive workshop to learn about predator eradication and native bird protection. Meet with local volunteer environmentalists, as they demonstrate pest monitoring and trapping techniques, and how you can get started in your own backyard. Learn more about what you can do to support the important conservation work being done around the Wakatipu.

This is a free event co-hosted by Wakatipu Wildlife Trust and Department of Conservation. Seating may be limited, please bring a chair if you’d like a guaranteed seat.
