Retail Salesperson position

We are seeking an energetic, friendly, customer service-oriented Retail Salesperson for Mrs Woolly’s General Store in Glenorchy.

Mrs Woolly’s General Store sells a wide range of beautiful specialty gifts, unique clothing, basic housewares and fresh, healthy to-go foods.

The larger Headwaters Project, currently under construction in the picturesque township of Glenorchy adjacent to Mrs Woolly’s General Store, includes modern bunk cabins, a community kitchen and amenities building. We plan to open our Net Zero energy, sustainably designed campground at the end of 2017.

We are offering a fixed term contract with variable hours subject to operational and seasonal requirements, 35-40 hours per week.

Well-appointed staff accommodation may be available in Glenorchy.

Applicants need to meet the following requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience in retail sales and merchandising

Second language an advantage

Passion for delivering excellent customer service

Appreciation for beautiful high quality products

Hands-on, hardworking approach and a “can do” attitude

Able to prioritise and show initiative

Legally able to work in NZ
